theHRDirector magazine (November 2025; Issue 253) kindly invited me to contribute my thoughts and advice about redefining careers. Partly informed by research for and ideas in my third book Making a Difference (published by De Gruyter), my article suggests that we would all benefit from what we do in our professional lives more often reflecting (or utilising) those values we hold ‘outside’ it too. I also consider how important work/life questions often remain unasked (let alone answered) in our rush to accomplish or get through what is on our schedules.
